Now here is someone special. Someone who has an "in" you might say. How come he gets to rest while others are at the helm? For the record - Moby is family. The kid's took him in many years ago and he has become part of the family. Not just in their minds. I think it's fair to say that the rest of the family has long ago accepted Moby as a member of Anna & Peter's household. He comes to Pocket's Meadow when they come to visit and he greets us when we go to Nantucket. He guards their home every day from multiple spots his favorite being perched on a window cell looking out into the front yard. If you are staying over and stray from bed for a night time walk you will most often encounter Moby who is checking you out before you lie down again. He has his own glass of water, food bowl and comforts of life. He long ago became special. Today he is just "Moby."
The thought I'm trying to leave here is that Moby's being present on Blue Yonder during The Adventure more than anything else signals the commitment Anna & Peter have to the trip. If he wasn't there something would be missing.
Moby is definitely already being Moby even in these early days of the cruise. The fact that he is so relaxed and at home is an excellent omen of good times to come.
